Want to get stuck in with Warhammer 40,000 but aren't sure what to pick up? This collection gives you eveything you'll need to fight epic narrative battles.
The Warhammer 40,000: Core Book
A 368-page hardback, this book is a must-have for any fan of Warhammer 40,000 – everything you need to know to collect, build, paint and play with Citadel miniatures.
It starts with an overview of the Warhammer 40,000 hobby, covering the four areas of Collect, Build, Paint and Play, including descriptions of open, matched, and narrative play.
Warhammer 40,000: Crusade Journal
The Crusade Journal is the ideal way to keep track of the glorious victories and desperate trials of your Warhammer 40,000 Crusade force. Within this book you will find enough Orders of Battle and Crusade cards to field multiple armies. The Orders of Battle let you record your full Crusade force as it grows from a surgical patrol to a grand host, with sections to note the number of battles bravely fought and the logistical details of your long war, as well as space to note down your force's goals, its victories (or treacheries) and any feats of arms you wish to immortalise. Each Crusade card lets you detail one of your force's assets – a squad of warriors, a rumbling battle tank or maybe a heroic commander – and follow their story as they rise from raw recruits to battle-scarred veterans with honours and histories of their own.
Warhammer 40,000: Battlezone Manufactorum Battlefield
You've read the Warhammer 40,000 rules, assembled your models and painted them beautifully. Now, you just need somewhere for them to fight. These boards let you battle over either the irradiated wasteland of a forge world or a ruined moonscape to prove the dominance of your forces and you as a general.
This box contains two boards, each measuring 30" by 22.4" (76cm x 56.8cm). Each board is 1.5mm thick, can be folded into eighths and is double sided, featuring different art on each side. One set is perfect for Combat Patrol or Incursion games of up to 1000 points. Two sets can be put together for Strike Force games of up to 2000 points, while three sets are ideal for Onslaught games of up to 3000 points.
